Pilots
All Med Flight crews are qualified professionals experienced with the air ambulance aircraft in use. They must not only meet the appropriate FAA training and flight requirements, but our own stringent standards as well.
Med Flight requires all captains to hold Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) licenses and to undergo additional air medical training in:
- Aeronautical Decision Making (ADM)
- Cockpit Resource Management (CRM)
- medical flight operations integration
- infection control
- patient handling
- Lifeguard operations
- Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) guidelines

KingAirs operated by Med Flight Air Ambulance, Inc, based in Albuquerque, NM. FAA Certificate#: MFUA514K
Med Flight Air Ambulance schedules aircraft exclusively through recognized, FAA Certified aircraft carrier operators. A variety of types and medical configurations are available. Each is designed to perform to the specific needs and requirements of the patient and client.
All aircraft are multi-engine, pressurized and all-weather instrument flight rules (IFR) capable. Additional seating for one to three passengers as allowed by patient condition.
